Planting and tending a visual art garden to expand emotional dexterity and explore the links that bind humanity
Opportunity for a ‘giving back’ scheme
Although we will be breaking this module into four main lessons there is an option for an entire school project in the form of a productive school garden. This is potentially an ongoing module that will need to have time during the school week allocated for watering and weeding etc
Values addressed: orderliness, generosity, wonder, nurturing, caring, compassion, responsibility, appreciation Intelligences addressed: logical/mathematical, linguistic, musical, kinaesthetic, intrapersonal, interpersonal and naturalist PD addressed: dance, growth and development, interpersonal relationships- interacting, movement and problem solving
